New Student Orientation and Onboarding

After you pay your deposit, your Student Success Advisor will be in touch with you regarding next steps for orientation and onboarding. Please see below for more on what to expect from your relationship with the Student Success Team.

Student Success Advisor

Every student in Morgridge College of Education Online programs will be assigned a dedicated Student Success Advisor (SSA). Your SSA will be a great asset to you throughout your time at DU. You will work together in the following ways:

Onboarding:

  • Your SSA will guide you through the student onboarding process to ensure you are fully prepared to start your first term.

After classes begin:

  • You will connect regularly with your SSA to ask questions, work through challenges and plan for upcoming circumstances.

Other services your SSA provides:

  • first point of contact for university-related questions
  • resources for your success

Please call Student Success at Phone Number:844-552-9121 (ex. 3) if you have not yet connected with your advisor for a welcome call.

Student Success Planning

Student Success Planning is an individualized, one-on-one session with your Student Success Advisor designed to help you get the most out of your time in the program.

In this session, you will discuss motivations for pursuing your master’s degree, career goals and prior academic experiences, and you will pre-emptively plan for the different kinds of challenges you may face in the program.

Order All Official Transcripts

If you were admitted to the Morgridge College of Education with unofficial transcripts, you MUST submit your official transcripts before the start of classes, otherwise a hold will be placed on your account and you will not be able to continue in your graduate program. An official transcript is required from each postsecondary institution where you have earned credit. This includes study abroad programs and any college coursework completed in high school.

Transcripts may be sent by mail or by email to:

University of Denver
Application Processing Center
Morgridge College of Education Online

Please note: To be considered an official transcript, the transcript must be sent directly from your institution(s) or through an electronic transcript vendor retained by that institution. Transcripts submitted by enrolled or prospective students are considered unofficial documents, even if they are in a sealed envelope provided to you by the issuing university.
