Sample Schedules

The Master of Library and Information Science program includes 19 courses and 58 quarter credit hours. The program can be completed in as few as 21 months on a full-time basis or 27 months on a part-time basis.

As a reminder, the curriculum includes one “culminating experience”—either a capstone or a 75-hour internship—and optional in-person immersions which take place each year during the summer quarter.

Below, we’ve outlined sample schedules for both the full- and part-time tracks to give you a better understanding of what each course sequence might look like.
